Hope sewing machine project

This project involves training girls, women and other vulnerable people such as prostitutes, widows, abandoned women, single women, HIV/AIDS patients, orphans, unemployed youth and people living with disabilities etc. on the use of the sewing machine.

After a 3-month training, TD-Birashoboka gives a certificate attesting that the person has regularly followed the sewing training. As our organization does not have sufficient financial means to buy a machine and a kit for a sewing workshop, we encourage the people we have trained to work in groups as a cooperative.

Solidarity Group through Savings and Credit

We encourage our beneficiaries to form a group to save a small amount of money that they may have in order to constitute a savings and credit fund. From this fund and depending on the amount a member has saved, a debt can be granted to them so that they can start an income generating activity. As these beneficiaries are in groups, it is an opportunity to help each other in case of problems and difficulties.

Project lenga lenga (Amaranth)

This project involves parents living with HIV/AIDS in Nyanza Lac Centre. We have a group of 20 people until May 2022. In order to support them and help them overcome the difficulties they face as a result of this disease, we encourage them to grow vegetables and other crops that ripen quickly such as lenga lenga, tomatoes etc. and to raise small domestic animals such as rabbits, pigs etc. This group also runs the savings and credit system.

Soap making and selling project

This project also involves girls and women who have decided to abandon the life of prostitution to live a dignified life. Today, in January 2023, we have a group of 25 members in Nyanza Lac who are beneficiaries of this project. They still have a small capital to run a sustainable project one for their life and for they children.

Shoe making project

This project involves a group of disabled people mainly from Mukungu in Nyanza lac Commune, Makamba Province. We have already trained 47 people and are continuing to train others in the locality of Rubindi, Mukungu and Kirwena in Rumonge province.

The project have potential to grow if the beneficiaries get enough materials to start a business of making and selling shoe localy.

Bed sheet embroidery Project

This project involves groups of girls, single mothers, widows and other vulnerable women. They do hand embroidery on bed sheets to sell for self-development.

Sending children from vulnerable families to school

This project involves children from vulnerable families and also children from single women, children who do not know their biological father, abandoned children and those whose parents suffer from HIV/AIDS etc. By year of 2023, Together for Development supported by his friends and donors sent 856 children to go back to school.

Our dream in 2023 is to be able to send more than 1287 children who parent are not able to buy all materials and needs asset to go to school

Promotion of sports talents and sustainable peace for development

With this project, we organize sports events, sports training, children's games and follow-up of children on holiday. The aim is to promote sports talents throughout the country, social cohesion and development through sports activities. It is from sport that we want to teach the values of peace and reconciliation for the sustainable development after the long sociopolitical crisis in our country.

Promotion of Health: Insurance Health Card

With this project, we are helping our beneficiaries and others to access primary health care free of charge by paying for and granting them a Health Insurance Card for a period of 12 months. Plus an Ambulance card for pregnant women to help them when complications arise during delivery at the health center; the ambulance card allows them to be evacuated to a larger health facility than a health center.

Fight Against Human Trafficking

Raising awarness about respect for human beings and stopping the trafficking of human .

Women Shining Center of Nyanza lac

We plan to build an income complex center that can generate funds for the ministry through sewing training, producing clothes and selling them, training in shoe making and selling; sport training and others disciplines like discipleship beneficiaries and outreach them.

We have already bought a land in Nyanza lac on it we want to build a multifunctional complex that will enable women, disable persons and young to develop new life and behaviors for community transformation.

The center will be: Educational, Developmental, and housing

We plan to initiate similar projects in other places where we have already a land.

Beneficiaries: Single mothers, widows, abandoned women, prostitutes, orphans, disadvantages children, single mothers, people living with handicap and youth.
