MY name is NIZIGAMA Pascasie. I live in Mutambara and I am 48 years old. When I heard about this organization, I was very happy because of the many difficult challenges I have gone though in life.
I grew up without parents and lived a very hard life. I later got married and had nine children, but one passed away, and I am now left with eight children. Unfortunately, only two of them are able to go to school. Their father abandoned us, and I have been raising them on my own.
At one point, I was imprisoned and taken to MPIMBA prison. Even after being released, I still feel the pain from that experience, and it seems like a wound that has not yet healed. Among my children, one of them became pregnant, which brought me even more serious problems.
Truly, life has been very difficult. But since I joined TD BIRASHOBOKA, I am now learning how to sew. I have already learned how to cut and sew dresses, shirts, and trousers. I believe things will go well in the future.
I am very grateful to TD BIRASHOBOKA organization for thinking of us. When I saw them, I felt like I was seeing God from heaven. Thank you very much.
